A driving day with a stopover in a university town, which we tend to stop in. The best part of the city for once for us was not the campus but our hotel, The Graduate, a sort of faux campus in Iowa with images of "Field of Dreams" and college motif and farm motifs.

We took a walk downtown to Prairie Lights Bookstore, a very good bookstore, where I bought Kevin Prufer's new book and Sylvia Plath's old one, pre-Ariel-Ariel, had a light dinner at Saint Burch Tavern, (oh their salmon chowder!)  and went back to sleep under a Field of Dreams.
